UPDATE: December 25, 2013
Going forward, unless noted in the post, the default camera for new material will be my new Canon Rebel T3i! 🙂
As I start to collect new lenses, the one used will be identified in the post.
Generally I use my Canon SX210 IS:
I’m always impressed with the quality of the Canon brand and the images their cameras produce. The battery life is great, although I did pick up an extra for traveling. The zoom is crazy awesome, which is what sold me on this model originally. Very impressive for such a small package – I can stick it in a pocket and even rock with it at concerts. The image stabilization works well, which is good given the power of the zoom. The wheel makes it easy to quickly switch modes, and the ability to pop the flash up or keep it folded in and compact are nice details. It even comes with a mini tripod. The colour options are an added bonus; I love having a purple camera!
From time to time I get a post-worthy shot when using my iPhone. It’s a plain old 4S model…no extra gadgets or apps.
When a post features an iPhone picture, it is always indicated and identified in the post.
For all the pictures I take, if any adjustments are needed (cropping, sharpness, etc.) I make them on my MacBook Pro’s default “Preview” application.
